Tami Sim – Owner
Thanks so much for visiting the Outshine
Dance & Fitness
website! My name is Tami Sim and I have been passionate about
health and fitness since I can remember. For 26 years I have been
teaching many different fitness classes like Spin, Kick-boxing, Step,
Intervals & Yoga. 5 years ago I became a Certified
Personal Trainer and most recently added teaching Silver
Sneakers classes to the list! I love being an
instrument to help men and women of all ages and stages
to achieve their goals whether they be to loose
weight, tone up, strengthen muscles, stress relief or
to get into better cardio health. Nothing is as important
as your health, exercise is the key, I believe it should
be fun!
Since I am now well into my forties I understand that weight,
flexibility, stamina and strength become much more challenging,
however I believe more vital to health and well being. Regardless
of what your starting point is, making a commitment
to yourself to change your life for the better is so commendable. I encourage
you to take that first step and hope to be a guide to you along
that journey.

Miss Jamie Libertz
– Director of Dance
Hello Dancers and Parents,
My name is Jamie Libertz
and I’d like to
tell you a little about my background. My husband and I
are the proud parents of 3 children and live in the Owen
J. Roberts school district. He and I have lived in the
area for several years after growing up in Philadelphia.
My love for dance began
as a little girl with the movies “Grease” and “Footloose”.
I enrolled at the Pennsport School of Dance, located in
South Philadelphia, in 1984 and trained there until 1995.
My formal training includes Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Hip-Hop.
Through the years I have continuously expanded my knowledge
and skills by attending various classes, competitions and
dance workshops.
It was during my time at Pennsport that I blended
my love of children and dance and started working as a teaching
assistant. I trained as an assistant from 1989 to 1995 and then
began teaching my own classes. My teaching style blends classic
dance techniques and fun modern steps so that the children learn,
laugh and develop a positive attitude. I
have also been involved with the Philadelphia New Year’s
parade for almost 18 years as both a dancer and choreographer.
I have worked for several Mummers’ clubs,
all within the Fancy Brigade Division. Currently I work
with the Second Street Shooters who are coming off a fantastic
2009 performance in which we brought “Polynesia:
Isle of the Unknown” to life on January 1st.

Hi! My name is Grace Eisenhart and I’m delighted to be a Fitness Instructor at Outshine Dance and Fitness Studio. Presently, I’m instructing classes in Cardio, Strength Training and Pilates. As far as my dance background, I’m happy to share that I had taken Ballet, Pointe and Jazz lessons from ages 3-18. I was a member of the Princeton Ballet Company as well as a competition team where I had trained.
When I’m not working out or instructing classes at Outshine, I’m busy raising my two beautiful children along with my husband of 12 years. My interests include fitness, skiing, horseback riding, music and dance. Also, I hold my Bachelor of Science degree from Rider University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. I have held many different
positions in these fields ranging from Pharmaceutical and Animal Medicine to Advertising and Sales. I’m excited to share that I have finally found my passion in life after so many years and that is being a Fitness Instructor. My goal for the future is to continue taking classes in the hopes of completing my Master’s Degree. |

Nicole Cerminaro – Dance Instructor I first started dancing when I was eight years old with just Tap and Jazz and then slowly
worked my way into Ballet. Although to some people Ballet may seem strict and boring it
has become my favorite type of dance. Throughout high school I was actively dancing in
Dance One’s Contemporary Ballet Company and Dance One’s Tap Company, as well as
taking classes in Jazz, Modern, and Pointe. Dancing has become an extremely important
hobby in my life. It not only help’s express who I am but it has become very therapeutic
to me, a place that I can forget everything else going on in the world. Currently, I
am a senior at Kutztown University graduating in May with a bachelor’s degree in
Communications and a minor in Public Relations. |

Jolene Wert – Fitness Director
I was introduced to ballet at the age of three. At first I hated it, but thanks to my Mother’s encouragement I developed a deep appreciation for dance. Most of my formal dance training took place at the Wyomissing Institute of Fine Arts (presently, known as the The Yocum Institute for Arts Education). Along with ballet, I studied Jazz, Tap and Character dancing up through my high school years.
I owned my own studio for a short time, but ended up changing careers. I missed dance, and eventually got a part time job teaching ballet, hip-hop, and jazz classes in the evenings and on the weekends. I took a break from teaching after my second child was born, but I discovered Zumba Fitness, shortly thereafter, through my local gym and was instantly intrigued. I loved the music, loved to dance, and the combination seemed an ideal fit for me. I was also getting a work out in the process. I became certified and have teaching ever since.
I’m very passionate about my work and my family. I have two wonderful children and a supportive, loving husband. The support from my family, and my faithful Zumba followers, continue to motivate me to keep the party going! |

Joanne Herilla – Studio Manager
I have been in the business world since 1988, owning a Vitamin & Healthfood store. I now work part time as a pharmaceutical sales representative for my husband’s newly developed product.
A lot of my free time is spent with children, granddaughters, mom, and the whole family. There also is time for my husband. We love to entertain, travel, cook, and garden.
Keeping fit is challenging. Zumba has replaced most of my exercise routines. It’s great fun and it works! |
